The group is entering a new project in collaboration with the Palestinian organization Riwaq, and is in need of more members to contribute to its realization.

The project deals with the revitalization, hence boosting of tourism (both local and foreign) in the deserted Palestinian village of Jaba’ located close to Ramallah in the West Bank, just 10 kilometres Northeast of Jerusalem. Riwaq has outlined several means for the rehabilitation, including large and small-scale physical interventions such as creating trails (hiking and biking) connecting Jaba’ to Ramallah and close by villages, and restoring public spaces and houses. Activities also involve the local community thus creating a public realm and sphere in order to secure the continuation of the physical intervention.

The rehabilitation project in Jaba’ is supposed to last two years starting April 2014. Check out the proposed plan at the project page.
