Architects Without Borders Denmark has made the exhibition “Spatial Statistics” to put a focus on the major differences in living standards between the poorest and richest. Today we are constantly confronted with numbers, graphs and forecasts on poverty. We have chosen to make the discussions on sustainability, climate and poverty tangible by showing them in scale 1:1.

The project is a comment to COP15 and is intended to create reflections on our own consumptions by pointing out the evident differences in living standards and resource consumption. Furthermore we want to contribute to the debate on how we can push the world into a more sustainable direction.

The exhibition can be seen at Strandgade 27 between the Foreign Ministry and Danish Architecture Centre from December 7 – 18 2009.
